PETA Nightmare Come True: Eagles Show Super Potential

Ethics aside, Michael Vick is quickly proving that an MVP season voids all wrongdoing. Vick had 218 yards passing, with 74 rushing yards rushing, and two touchdowns as Philadelphia beat Indianapolis 26-24 on Sunday.

Vick looked accurate and elusive, and outplayed the best quarterback in the NFL, Peyton Manning. All in all, Philadelphia overcame Peyton Manning, and an awful officiating crew. The defense was confusing enough to cause Manning to make mistakes, and hold him to 24 points.

This Eagles team has everything lining up right for them to make a Super Bowl run. The Eagles are 4-0 when Vick starts(and finishes) a game. With Vick healthy, (and himself healthy), DeSean Jackson is one of the best receivers in the game. Assuming both are healthy, and assuming they split their series with the Giants, this team realistically can win seven of their next eight(at Washington, at Chicago, Houston, two against Dallas, Minnesota).

That would put them at 12-4. Giving them homefield advantage in the NFC. If this happens, who is beating them? The baby Rams? The inconsistent Packers? Yeah, I know. Falcons-Eagles showdown. I can see it happening. As much as I would like to let the Falcons beat them, it's not going to happen. Assuming injuries don't pile up, the only team who has the talent to beat them is the Giants. However, The Iggles have won the last two playoff games against the G-Men. This Philadelphia team is destined for Dallas.

Think about the potential drama. Vick could end up beating New York (a rival) and Atlanta (his former team) in the playoffs, leading him to a Super Bowl in Dallas (another rival).

Unfortunately, because of his incredible on the field talents, and the fact that America loves second chances, Mike Vick will be a hero again, and everyone will forget about that little mistake, where he brutally murdered over 100 dogs. He even jokes around about his "love" for dogs in this shoe commercial from 2005.

Hopefully the Cleveland Browns can make a miraculous run and beat Philadelphia in the Super Bowl. It's a long shot, but every Dawg has their day.
